Selection of centrifugal pump series and materials
The series of centrifugal pumps refer to the pumps of the same structure and use produced by the pump factory, such as IS-type clean water pumps, S-type double suction centrifugal pumps, IH-type chemical pumps, ZGB slurry pumps, pipeline centrifugal pumps, etc. Select the pump series and material based on process parameters and media characteristics.
(1) Decide which characteristic pump to choose according to the characteristics of the medium, such as clean water pump, corrosion-resistant pump and impurity pump. When the medium is highly toxic, precious, or radioactive, which is not allowed to leak, consideration should be given to the use of non-leak pumps (such as canned pumps, magnetic pumps) or double-end mechanical seals with leak collection and leak alarm devices. If the medium is liquefied, etc., it is necessary to choose a low cavitation residual volume pump, such as a barrel pump.
(2) Select horizontal pump and vertical pump (including submerged pump and pipeline pump) according to the selected installation conditions.
(3) Select single suction pump, double suction pump, or small flow centrifugal pump according to the flow rate.
(4) Select single-stage pump, multi-stage pump, or high-speed centrifugal pump according to the head height.
After the above items are determined, the appropriate pump series and production plant can be selected according to the characteristics of different series of pumps and the conditions of the production plant. After superiority, according to the characteristics of the device and the process parameters of the pump, decide which type of manufacturing and inspection standards to choose. If the requirements are higher, the API610 standard can be selected. When the requirements are general, the GB5656 (ISO5199) or ANSI B73.1 M standard can be selected.
