In order to ensure the safe operation of the centrifugal pump, the centrifugal pump unit should be fully and carefully inspected before starting, especially for the newly installed or overhauled pump. Before starting, more attention should be paid to the inspection work. After the inspection, we must pay attention to the parking operation to extend the life of the car and ensure that the centrifugal pump can work normally.
The centrifugal pump shutdown operation is as follows:
(1) Close the vacuum gauge and pressure gauge valves;
(2) Slowly close the outlet gate valve, and then stop the motor.
Notes on centrifugal pump parking:
(1) If the centrifugal pump first stops the motor and then closes the outlet valve, the high-pressure liquid in the pressure pipe may be back-pushed into the pump, causing the impeller to reverse at high speed, causing damage.
(2) If the pump is not used for a long time after the pump is stopped or the ambient temperature is below 0 ℃, the water in the pump should be discharged.
(3) For the axial flow pump, there is no gate valve on the general pressurized water pipeline, and it can be stopped directly.
(4) For deep well pumps, the water pump cannot be started again immediately after stopping to prevent the impact of the waterproof flow. Generally, it can be started again after 5 minutes.
